Rose Island: chapter 1

I watch the cherry blossoms spread across the Godly fingers of space. Airplanes ruin the sprakling dress of the stars. To speak truthfully I am glad that we had a blackout. Before the black out my parents called saying that I would go to visit a family island where my Grandmother lives, because 'I am blessed to be named after her!' But that island is covered in a heavy mist. I can sleep easily, tonight, today, i am safe.
"Camille! Awaken your self at this moment! You must go watch over you poor grandmother." Grumbles my mother, as her monotonous maids roughly clothe me, only to ship me off to a place i don't ever want to know. When I arrive, the winds pull my dress like little wanting hands. As a strange fog begins towards me it smells so sweet and lures me forward by bring back warm childhood memories. But that feeling...it wasn't safe. But still subdued by those memories of laugh children and playgrounds pushes my feet forward, forward towards that nightmarish house. That child of a wind finally gives up and begins to dance around me, blowing strawberry brown locks into that forest looming overhead. Opening the door, there stands a hunched over man with sunken in eyes full of pain and torture. A hardened face accented with blue veins, showing up for the show, and a balding head to show age. A suit of gray and white instead of black and white. This describes perfectly the first friend i will ever have in this monstrosity.
"Madam, shall I show you to your room?" He softly says as he takes my hand to help me up those decayed steps.
"Camille, but I prefer Cammie. Thanks what an .. inter sting place you got here Mister..."
" Oh-dear i am sorry you may call me Damien, and when you speak around Master Camille use only the most precise language or consequences...Miss Cam"he say it as if he wanted to make sure no heard us talking. There was a stone tower to my room, I am supposed to feed my self but Damien will help me throw things together. The cook died tragically drowned... her skin some how got caught .. in the coral..poor girl. It's the only person he talked about, and refuses to say what happened to the others. Crows and ravens call out to the moon while another animal cries out in despair. Vultures circle a next meal as that mother cries out as her child is torn slowly away piece by piece. Looking away i can not bear anymore so i walk away, walk away to my bed and escape to my imagination....

A cold chill runs through my bones paralyzing me. I open my eyes but see darkness still my breath shortens as something presses down on me choking me. My hands instinctively shoot up and press against a wooden box i hear voices scream, children crying, the wind howling. Dragging my hands nails i desperately try to get out. Gasping for air I pound so someone may hear my sobs! The rawness of my peeling skin does not phase me- I must get out! Suddenly  mt feet are clamped in chains and then thrown into water or some type of liquid that smells like sulfur. When my toes greet that water it burns-no! It torments my soul as the acid solution eats away ONLY to the bone then moves up ward the liquid is so heavy and thick but it burned a hole with the evaporation so i can breath. A hand! I grab it with my bloody pair to despratly get out when steel bars shoot out into my arm when a spear hits my stomach spitting up blood i let go waiting- begging for this pain to go away, right when I wake up to a piercing scream.
